As with all of the Room 1015 fragrances, Sonic Flower is an ode to music, particularly rock n' roll and moments in rock history. Sonic Flower is the frontwoman. Taking on the male dominated industry of rock n roll, these women were pioneers. They refused to conform and pushed boundaries to make room not only for themselves but for more women to stand out in the music scene.
A fragrance that leaves an impact yet doesn’t always have to be the loudest in the room. This fragrance has an elusive scent yet it awakens something when you smell it. You sway between smelling something clean and light then something dirty and almost animalic begins to appear. And just when you get used to it, we swing the other way yet again.
Sonic Flower opens with an aromatic burst of pink pepper and carrot seeds. It's softly spicy in a way that is hard to pinpoint, then as we settle the wonderful iris comes out and leaves the scent feeling more robust; a little green and waxy with the wonderful dry earthiness that iris can create. Then as time passes, we get the pillowy cashmere wood and slightly dirty musky base that is amplified by the heavy use of ambroxan. This creates that wonderful pheromone like feel and you can imagine the scent on our front woman, post show - a bit of sweat mixed with fragrance and the exuberant high of performing to adoring fans. A swirling, intoxicating, pheromone-esque cloud of fragrant deliciousness that draws you in.
