Douglas Little (the creator of Heretic Parfum) and Drew Martin were drawn together as kindred spirits with a shared love and appreciation for plant magic, and thus The Herbalist was born. As Heretic Parfum is all natural, The Herbalist was not only created to smell incredible, but also to boost the wearer’s mood with the careful selection of essential oils.

On the skin, The Herbalist is bright and aromatic to open - it almost smells like a tincture or something medicinal (in the best possible way). You can smell the thyme and citrus notes with the spark of hemp creeping in, you can sense the magic of what is to come…
There is a depth that quickly comes through that balances the herbal notes with a powerful hinoki note that is prominent for most of the wear and takes you deep into a magical forest. Vetiver, resins and frankincense sit in the base and play supporting roles to hinoki, which provides the calm yet refreshing presence like that of a walk through the forest.
