Inspired by fashion drawings found in Henry Creed’s private room at the Avenue Pierre 1 er de Serbie. He had incredible fashion sketches of women in flowing gowns and Carmina in particular is inspired by the glamorous woman in a purple evening gown. Soft flowing sheer fabric with sculptural elements along the neckline, Carmina is a fusion of classic elegance with modern boldness. She holds a sultry grandeur through the use of contemporary notes yet also holds a hint at that irresistible old world glamour.
A nod to the fashion world that Creed is intertwined in, this fragrance conjures the most sophisticated person at a red carpet event. They are elegant and classic but still have a quirky, modern twist to their personality and style. All is not always what it seems.
The fragrance itself is rich and full bodied. The cherry note is sweet, yet tempered by the sizzle of saffron and the sparkle of pink pepper. We then quickly move into the soft and pillowy florals that feel like velvet on the skin. The rose note stands out and has a lucious depth as it is surrounded by the sweet, dark fruits and sparkles of spice. Carmina absolutely ushers in the colour purple as you smell this scent. You can imagine being enveloped in the shades of rich magenta, red wine tones, subdued violet and vivid jammy purples as you wear it.
